The RWA Steffie Walker Bookseller of the Year award is given annually to one special bookseller who provides outstanding service to romance readers and demonstrates notable support of romance authors and the romance genre.

Gail Link began her book selling career working part time after graduate school for Waldenbooks. She then became an assistant manager and was one of the company's original Romance Experts. Twelve years ago, Link moved to Barnes & Noble, where she hosts a monthly Readers Circle to discuss books the group has read.
When asked what it means to her to receive the 2010 RWA Steffie Walker Bookseller of the Year Award, Link said, "It's a sweet reward for doing something I love, and an honor I greatly appreciate."
RWA will present Gail Link the RWA Steffie Walker Bookseller of the Year Award on July 30, 2010, at the 30th Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.
