Romance Writers of America Chooses to "Go Red For Women"

Romance Writers of America is proud to support the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women(TM) campaign, which seeks to educate women about the prevention of heart disease.

Research shows 80 percent of cardiac events in women could be prevented if women make the right choices for their hearts, involving diet, exercise and abstinence from smoking. One in three women has some form of cardiovascular disease, and heart disease is the number one cause of death among women in the United States.
