RWA Vivian Stephens Industry Award
The RWA Vivian Stephens Industry Award is presented to one or more professionals in the romance-publishing industry, who is not a writer, who has contributed to the genre or to RWA in a significant and/or continuing manner.
Named for one of RWA's founders, the RWA Vivian Stephens Industry Award is for an accumulated body of work and may not be presented every year if no candidate is clearly identified as meeting the level of excellence established by past recipients of the award.

2010 RWA Vivian Stephens Industry Award Recipient
Eileen Hutton
VP, Associate Publisher (retired)
Brilliance Audio
Eileen Hutton is a librarian by training and originally joined Brilliance Audio as assistant to the publisher. Hutton quickly worked her way into the editorial/acquisitions area of the company, where she helped the company pioneer unabridged audiobooks. She acquired the company's first romance audiobook, Nora Roberts's Montana Sky, which was an instant success. From there, Hutton went on to acquire some of the biggest names in romance: Jayne Ann Krentz, Jennifer Crusie, Johanna Lindsey, Linda Howard, and more. Now, most major audiobook publishers produce romantic suspense audiobooks, thanks to Hutton and her work at Brilliance Audio.
RWA will present Eileen Hutton the 2010 RWA Vivian Stephens Industry Award on July 30, 2010, at the 30th Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.
