2010 Librarians’ Day

RWA hosts a day of programming and networking for librarians at its Annual Conference. The 2010 Librarians' Day will take place on July 28, 2010. This year, best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon will speak at the luncheon, and more authors will lead sessions on the romance genre in libraries.

We encourage authors to participate in the following Librarians' Day events:

• Librarian & Bookseller Goody Room Drop Off: We’re looking for romance novels and other promotional items from PAN-eligible authors for librarians & booksellers. Authors may drop off items on Wednesday, July 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Consult your conference program for the location of the room.
   
• Librarians' Day Luncheon (12:30–2:00 p.m.)
  Members of RWA PAN are invited to enjoy lunch with librarians.  Cost is $55.00
  Note: Author spaces at the Librarian Luncheon are currently sold out.
   
• Librarian & Bookseller Networking Event (2:30–4:30 p.m.): RWA will host a networking event at the conference where authors can meet and mingle with romance-friendly librarians and booksellers. Register here! E-mail libraries@rwanational.org for more information on the event.
