RWA always welcomes new members! When you become a member, you gain access to tools and resources that will help you achieve your publishing goals. You also become part of one of the largest writers associations with over 9,500 members worldwide. The relationships you can build both professionally and personally are limitless.
Types of Membership
General membership – open to anyone pursuing a career in romance fiction regardless of publishing status. Writers do not need to be published to join. General members are also voting members that help shape the association culture.
Associate membership – members are part of the romance publishing field but not active writers. Associate membership is open to publishers, editors, agents and industry professionals who work in the romance publishing field. Associate members do not have voting rights and are not eligible to hold office in RWA.
Affiliate memberships – available for booksellers and librarians.
